Annual Mtg & MassWildlife Coldwater Fisheries Presentation: Sunday, November 4; 3 to 6pm

We are all set to celebrate our 40th year as a non-profit! Please register here!

We will have a very brief 10-minute meeting to vote on a new slate of officers followed by a presentation on Coldwater Fisheries Resources by Adam Kautza of Massachusetts Division of Fisheries & Wildlife.

We will then step across the courtyard to Purgatory Beer Company to toast our 40 years as a non-profit organization. Food and drink will be available for purchase but the first drink will be on us. Wine and non-alcoholic beverages will also be available.

The event is free and open to the public, but we need a head-count! Please click here to register.

BRC Monthly Water Quality Monitoring: Saturday, November 10; 9 a.m. to noon drop-off

The BRWA coordinates the Blackstone River Coalition Water Quality Monitoring Program for the mid-reach segment of the Blackstone River and it's tributaries. Each month, volunteers collect water samples and other data at sites throughout the watershed and bring them to drop-off labs for analysis. The data is compiled and used by a number of agencies and decision makers. We are always looking for volunteers to sample in the field or help out in the lab.
